We realize the quality of our programs depends on the quality of our instructors. For this reason, our instructors are chosen based on their qualifications, communication skills, patience, and love for children. Our structured training program ensures that each student receives the finest hands-on instruction available. Regardless of their age or skill level, students will discover that continuous interaction with our warm and caring instructors develops trust and stability both in and out of the water. We are pleased to give our swimmers a qualified team of experienced, mature professionals who are devoted to making a positive impact on their students.

Angel
Angel
Huntington Beach
Angel was taught how to swim by his cousin at the age of 11. He caught on very quickly and has enjoyed swimming in pools and the ocean for the last 10 years. Angel has experience working with children ages 1-11 through babysitting and coaching little league baseball. Angel enjoys building connections with his students and helping them grow and develop their skills in the water! Angel currently attends Orange Coast College to major in Communications. Some of his hobbies include playing basketball, reading, and writing. A fun fact about Angel is: he was named Captain of both his track and cross country teams in high school.

Betsy
Anaheim
Betsy began swimming at the age of five and her favorite stroke is Freestyle. She has worked with children of all ages while working at a preschool, community service events, and as a church volunteer. Her favorite part of teaching her students is being able to make a connection which each and every student and being able to show them how much fun swimming can be. Betsy is currently attending Santiago Canyon College where she is studying Child Development. A fun fact about her is she really enjoys listening to music and singing.

Day began swimming when she was only eighteen months old and has loved the water ever since. She swam competitively for about two years with the Anaheim Aquatics Association. One of her favorite strokes is Butterfly and her favorite event is the 100 meter Butterfly. Day has been working with children of all ages through coaching an all girls lacrosse team. She also volunteered as a camp counselor for three summers in a row. Her favorite part about teaching swimming lessons is being able to build a personal relationship with each of her students and watch them grow and develop into great swimmers. Some of Day’s hobbies include golf, working out, playing video games, and hanging out with her friends.

Janae began swimming at the age of 4 years old. She has loved working with children since a young age, and gained most of her experience working with children ages one through sixteen as a babysitter. Her favorite part about teaching is connecting with the students and their family and seeing her students grow into excellent swimmers. She is currently attending Cerritos College where she is studying Fashion. A fun fact about Janae is she loves the beach, trying new foods, and Polynesian dancing.

Mayra learned how to swim when she was six years old and her favorite stroke is Freestyle. She gained experience working with children through babysitting ages one through ten and tutoring students in Reading and Writing. Mayra’s favorite things about teaching swimming lessons is passing on her passion for the water and seeing them compete at swim competitions. She is studying Criminal Justice at Cal State Fullerton College. A fun fact about Mayra is that she loves skating and going to museums!

After learning how to swim at a young age, Paul began swimming competitively at the age of twelve and swam for multiple swim teams. He swam all throughout high school and following graduation he swam for the U.S. Army. Paul comes to us with prior swim instructor experience and loves watching his students’ progress and achieve their goals. Paul is currently studying Biochemistry at Iowa College. A fun fact about Paul is that he has been to six of the seven continents!

Steven learned how to swim at the age of three all by himself. He became passionate about swimming in high school where he joined his school’s Water Polo team for four years and won CIF. Steven gained most of his experience working with younger children through babysitting. His favorite part about teaching swimming lessons is the one on one time he gets to spend with his students and being able to get the parents involved in the learning process. Steven is currently attending Cal State Fullerton and studying music. A fun fact about Steve is he really enjoys dancing, videogames and going to the gym.

Vanessa
Vanessa
Anaheim
Vanessa began swimming at the age of fifteen when she began swimming competitively for Western High School and competed all four years of high school. Her favorite stroke is Backstroke and her favorite event is the 200 yard relay. She has gained most of her experience working with elementary students while helping assist at her local elementary. She would help set up lesson plans and execute the lessons and help and students with any questions they might have. Her favorite part of teaching her students is being able to see their improvement through time. Some of Vanessa’s hobbies include hiking, swimming and bike riding.
