We realize the quality of our programs depends on the quality of our instructors. For this reason, our instructors are chosen based on their qualifications, communication skills, patience, and love for children. Our structured training program ensures that each student receives the finest hands-on instruction available. Regardless of their age or skill level, students will discover that continuous interaction with our warm and caring instructors develops trust and stability both in and out of the water. We are pleased to give our swimmers a qualified team of experienced, mature professionals who are devoted to making a positive impact on their students.

Amadeus
Deus (Amadeus)
Guam
Amadeus is currently studying Engineering at Santa Monica City College. He started swimming at age 4 and has loved swimming ever since. His favorite part about teaching swim lessons is seeing his students smile after completing a task.Amadeus gained experience working with children and adults of all ages as a snorkeling and scuba diving instructor. Two of Amadeus’ hobbies are scuba diving and playing rugby. A fun fact about Amadeus is he can create two different types of bubbles underwater.

Andrea attends Santa Monica College to study Business Entrepreneurship. She learned how to swim at the age of six and loves going to the beach! Her favorite aspect of teaching swim lessons is creating strong connections with her students to help them succeed! Andrea gained experience working with children as the eldest of her siblings and through babysitting. Andrea loves to read and stay active when she is not working. She is a child at heart and has seen almost every Disney and animated movie!

Jonathan
Jonathan
Miami
Jonathan learned how to swim when he was four years old, and his favorite stroke is Backstroke. Jonathan’s older brother taught him how to swim and he has loved the water since. He gained experience working with children through being an overnight nanny. His favorite thing about being a swim instructor is teaching his students a skill that could save their, or someone else’s, life someday. Jonathan is currently studying Communication at Los Angeles City College. A fun fact about Jonathan is that he loves to paddleboard!

Jordan
Jordan G.
Miami, Florida
Jordan is currently studying Psychology at Los Angeles Valley College. He started swimming at age 5 and began swimming competitively at age 16. His favorite stroke is the Breaststroke. His favorite part about teaching swim lessons is sharing his knowledge of swimming with his students and watching them have fun. Jordan gained experience working with children age 5 to 14 as a gymnastics and karate instructor. He has also worked as a babysitter. A few of Jordan’s hobbies include swimming, going to church, watching movies, making new friends, and meeting new people.

Lucky
Lucky
Cavite, Philippines
Lucky is currently studying Business at Santa Monica College. He first learned to swim at age 4 and began swimming competitively at age 7. Lucky has competed in several municipal meets and regional tournaments, collecting 70 medals. His favorite stroke is the Backstroke. Lucky gained experience working with children, ages infant – 10 years, as a nanny and babysitter. His favorite part about teaching swim lessons is seeing his students swim across the pool for the first time. A few of Lucky’s hobbies include reading, cycling, and swimming.

Sashoy
Jamaica
Sashoy is currently studying Kinesiology at Cal State Los Angeles. She began swimming at age 9 and has enjoyed swimming ever since. Her favorite strokes are Backstroke and Freestyle. Her favorite part about teaching swim lessons is helping her students overcome their fear of the water. Sashoy gained experience working with children ages 5 to 12 as a dance assistant. In addition, she has worked with children of all ages as a babysitter. She gained hands-on experience working with individuals with disabilities as a volunteer at Joan and Harry A Miller Abilityfirst Center. A few of Sashoy’s hobbies include dancing, painting, hiking, and writing.

Sheila
Culver City
Sheila is currently studying at Santa Monica College to major in Psychology. She learned how to swim at age 8 and swam competitively for 2 years. Sheila gained experience working with children by babysitting children ages 1 to 10. Her favorite part about teaching swim lessons is watching her kids grow up and see them overcome their fear to swim. During her free time, she enjoys swimming freestyle, reading books, and spending time with her dogs. Two interesting facts about Sheila is she loves whales and she knows how to speak Italian.
