Adaptive Swimming Lessons

Adaptive Swimming Lessons

At Waterworks Aquatics, our adaptive swim lesson program is designed specifically for children with special needs. Learning to swim is not only a lifesaving skill but also boosts self-confidence and improves coordination, balance, strength, and range of motion. Swimming lessons can also be therapeutic and can be very calming for swimmers with special abilities.

Our adaptive aquatics instructors have experience teaching the necessary skills at the appropriate time for children with a variety of special abilities, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Down Syndrome
  • Sensory struggles
  • Other physical challenges

Waterworks Aquatics has teamed up with the Autism Society to serve the community.
