Swim School Staff

We realize the quality of our programs depends on the quality of our instructors. For this reason, our instructors are chosen based on their qualifications, communication skills, patience, and love for children. Our structured training program ensures that each student receives the finest hands-on instruction available. Regardless of their age or skill level, students will discover that continuous interaction with our warm and caring instructors develops trust and stability both in and out of the water. We are pleased to give our swimmers a qualified team of experienced, mature professionals who are devoted to making a positive impact on their students.

Chelsea

Madison, North Carolina

Chelsea has been swimming since the age of three. She swam competitively for eleven years. She was on the Forest Grove Club Swim Team in North Carolina, and in High School, she continued to compete with her high school’s varsity swim team. One of her favorite strokes is Backstroke and her favorite event is the 200 Individual Medley. Chelsea is currently attending Santa Clara University where she is studying Theater and Political Science. Some of her hobbies include working on theatric productions and reading plays.

Christian

Cupertino

Christian learned how to swim at the age of seven and has loved being in the water ever since. He gained experience working with children as a daycare supervisor and a swim instructor for kids of all ages. Christian’s favorite thing about teaching swimming lessons is helping boost a child’s confidence! He is studying Liberal Arts at West Valley College. A fun fact about Christian is that he loves to write music!

 

Claudia

San Jose

Claudia learned how to swim at a young age and her favorite stroke is freestyle. She swam competitively in high school and took additional swimming courses in college. She gained experience working with children through babysitting. Her favorite thing about teaching swimming lessons is seeing the excitement on her students’ faces as they learn a new life skill. Claudia is currently studying Business at De Anza College. A fun fact about Claudia is that she loves animals and it is her mission to visit as many zoos as possible.

Hannah

Morgan Hill

Hannah has been swimming since the age of three. She has been working with children for over ten years and she has also worked as a lifeguard. What she enjoys most about teaching swimming lessons is seeing as her students make progress. Hannah is currently attending West Valley College where she is studying Theatre Arts. Her hobbies include acting and swimming.

Jacqueline

Los Gatos

Jacqueline began taking swimming lessons when she was a few months old and loved swimming ever since. She started competing at 7 years old with Courtside Swim Club. When her family moved to Los Angeles, she swam for Bruin Swim Club and moved onto Royal Swim Club and then moved to Alpha Aquatics. Her swimming didn’t just end there, she also swam competitively all throughout high school. Her favorite strokes are the Breaststroke and Freestyle and her best events are the 200 Breaststroke and 50 Freestyle. Jacqueline has gained her experience with kids by being the family babysitter for her older sibling’s children. She is currently attending De Anza College studying Psychology. Some of her hobbies include playing video games, spending time with her friends, and exploring new places.

Leo

San Jose

Leo gained experience working with children as a camp counselor and while in high school, where he would volunteer to run games and activities for children to enjoy in an organized and fun environment. Leo is also active in the water as he spends much of his time in the ocean and enjoys swimming laps for exercise. His favorite stroke is the backstroke. Leo loves to make his students laugh and have a great time. His favorite aspect of teaching swimming lessons is seeing the excitement on his students faces when they reach a goal. He currently studies Kinesiology at San Jose City College. Leo’s favorite movie is Finding Nemo and in his free time he loves to read and play fantasy football.

Saj

Cupertino

Saj learned how to swim when he was six years old. He caught on very quickly and continued swimming in high school. He competed in triathlons, and half-marathons as a swimmer and runner. He won first place in the Morro Bay Triathlon Relay and Gold Finisher in the Berkley Half-Marathon. Saj has experience working with children as a swim instructor and a mathematics tutor. He enjoys building connections with his students and helping them grow and develop their skills in the water! Saj is studying Business Administration at Foothill College. Some of his hobbies include playing basketball, swimming, and soccer.

Stephanie

Santa Clara

Stephanie began swimming at the age of six when she joined the Santa Clara Swim club. She swam competitively for a few years and then found her passion for water polo in high school. She has been playing water polo for five years and working with children for six years. She has worked with children of all ages as a Sunday school teacher at Westgate Church. Stephanie is currently attending De Anza College where she is studying Child Development and Communicative Disorders. Some of her hobbies included playing guitar, drawing and shopping at Target.
