For this reason, our instructors are chosen based on their qualifications, communication skills, patience, and love for children. Our structured training program ensures that each student receives the finest hands-on instruction available. Regardless of their age or skill level, students will discover that continuous interaction with our warm and caring instructors develops trust and stability both in and out of the water. We are pleased to give our swimmers a qualified team of experienced, mature professionals who are devoted to making a positive impact on their students.

Alexis

Los Angeles

Alexis began swimming at the young age of three. Alexis has worked with children ranging from one to nine years old. She gained most of her experience through babysitting and later working at an Extended Day Care. Alexis has always loved working with children and now she is able to help them learn a skill that will help them throughout their whole life.Her favorite part about teaching swimming lesson is being able to give her students the opportunity to feel more confident and comfortable with themselves because of a newly acquired skill. Some of Alexis’ hobbies included singing, making music, going to the beach and hanging out with her friends.

Ali

Park City, Utah

Ali has been swimming since the early age of 5. In high school she became captain of her swim team and played competitive water polo. Ali joins Waterworks Aquatics with 2 years’ experience teaching swimming lessons. She also has an extensive background as a nanny, working with children of varying ages. Her favorite aspect of teaching swimming lessons is being a part of her students’ progress.

Ariel

Los Angeles

Ariel started swimming lessons when she was 7 years old. On her high school swim team, she won 1st place in 200 Freestyle relay and 3rd place in 100 Freestyle. What she enjoys most about teaching swimming lessons is the satisfaction of seeing her students master all levels. Ariel has worked with children at a local recreation center, where she supervised school aged children in classrooms, during lunch, and on field trips. As a babysitter, she provided indoor and outdoor activities and snacks for preschool-aged children. Ariel attends Cal State Los Angeles where she is studying Exercise Science. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and swimming.

Beatriz

Los Angeles

Beatriz began swimming at the age of eight and has been swimming ever since. Her favorite aspect of teaching swimming lessons is being able to connect with the community and help her students get over their fear of the water. Beatriz has been working with children for the past eight years. She started off babysitting her three nieces and later began volunteering at her local elementary school. She is currently attending Santa Monica College where she is studying Biology. During her free time she enjoys reading, playing piano and guitar, and taking morning jogs.

Lucky

Cavite, Philippines

Lucky is currently studying Business at Santa Monica College. He first learned to swim at age 4 and began swimming competitively at age 7. Lucky has competed in several municipal meets and regional tournaments, collecting 70 medals. His favorite stroke is the Backstroke. Lucky gained experience working with children, ages infant – 10 years, as a nanny and babysitter. His favorite part about teaching swim lessons is seeing his students swim across the pool for the first time. A few of Lucky’s hobbies include reading, cycling, and swimming.
