If you are looking to pass the Junior Lifeguard Swim Test in Carlsbad, you will want to check out the preparation courses that Waterworks Aquatics hosts during the springtime.  

Students will receive feedback and direction from our professional instructors who have experience teaching this class type. We have crafted each course to help boost a student’s chance to pass the Junior Lifeguard swim test. Each class lasts for one hour, and our goal is for students to leave feeling more confident in the water. 

We also ask that you bring in the list of requirements to pass the Junior Lifeguard test as the requirements vary by age group and program.

Note: Participants must be registered and paid in full at least one day prior to the scheduled course date. Programs are subject to cancellation based on enrollment. Please call ahead before coming into our facility if same-day registration is requested.

Course Requirements:

• Participants must be ages 6-16.
• Students must be a level 9 or higher OR able to swim freestyle 100 yards (4 lengths of the pool) without stopping. Please consult with our front office if you are unsure of your child's ability.
