Waterworks has had an exciting week!
We completed our last Swim Competition for the month of July and we had our largest attendance so far this year. Out of the 162 participants, 64 competed for the first time. We awarded 13 trophies and had 2 star swimmers break our current pool records.
Our first ever Turbo Croc Charm Counting Contest has commenced. All children ages 3 and older can guess how many Turbos are swimming in our jar. Stop by the front desk to submit your guess. Winners will receive a free Dippin’ Dots and a dive in our Treasure Chest.
Waterworks Aquatics is joining the Leukemia and Lymphoma Societyfor their Light the Night walk on September 17th. You can help support our team by joining or by donating to this worthy cause. If you donate a dollar you can put your name on a paper balloon that will be displayed in our front office until the day of the walk.
Next week will be our sixth week of Swim Camp! Mr. Alan loves seeing his students develop their stroke technique as they progress through the week. Everyone’s favorite day is Friday when all of the campers get to enjoy a snow-cone and an extended time of free play!
Every week each student puts in hard work to perfect their swim skills and the parents sit and watch as their children make progress. Now it’s time for the instructors to show off their swimming skills. Mark your calendars for August 6th when our instructors will compete against one another in our Instructor Race after the Swim Competition. Encourage your teachers to participate and come out to cheer them on!
We hope you all enjoy your weekend!
