Waterworks Aquatics Food Drive
We have all felt some form of hunger in our lives and experienced how debilitating it gets. We can't focus, we become weak, and our mental capacity is hindered. Typically, this is solved when lunch or dinnertime comes around. But what about for those that don’t have that benefit? The people who wonder where their next meal will come from. The parents who worry that they will not be able to put food on their children’s plates. This is more common than many people believe, as one in eight Americans struggle with hunger. That is 12.5% of Americans, 395,824 people.
In the season of being grateful for what we have, let us spread our good fortune. Help families in our local communities celebrate Thanksgiving by donating food for their tables. Waterworks Aquatics locations throughout California and Colorado are holding food drives for the hungry. All food collected will be donated to local food banks. So please donate any non-perishable items you can, because they are guaranteed to put a smile on someone’s face.
