Waterworks Aquatics would like to welcome our new Carlsbad instructors - Kristin & Kahle!

To find out more about their swimming background and experience working with children, please read below:

Kristin began taking swim lessons at the age of nine and has been swimming ever since. She swam competitively all four years of high school and her favorite stroke was Backstroke. She also competed on her high school water polo team and continued to play in college. Kristin has been working with children of all ages not only through her church but also through Kumon and the Better Tomorrow program. Her favorite part of teaching her students is being able pass down all the knowledge she has gained over the years down to her students. Kristin is currently attending Mira Costa College where she is studying to become a teacher. Some of her hobbies include going to the gym, acroyoga, exploring the outdoors and spending time with her dogs.

Bilingual: Korean

Kahle began swimming at the age of eight. She has gained most of her experience working with children ages one through five babysitting and working as a Ski Instructor. Her favorite part of teaching her students is being able to enrich her student’s lives with all the skills needed to be a great swimmer and making lasting connections with her students. Kahle is currently attending Cal State San Marcos where she is studying Sociology and Art. Some of her hobbies include reading, drawing, making jewelry and going to the beach.
