Megan
Megan began swimming at the age of five. She has worked with children ranging in ages from one to twelve and gained most of her experience through babysitting and volunteering during Sunday school at her local church. Her favorite thing about teaching swimming lessons would have to be working with the children. Some of Megan’s hobbies included dancing, singing and hanging out with her friends.
Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn began swimming at the young age of two and has been swimming ever since. She has been swimming competitively since she was five. She swam with the YMCA Riptides for two years, then for Inland Coastal Aquatics Club from ages seven through eighteen. While swimming with ICAC, she also swam competitively for San Marcos High School and once she graduated she continued to swim for her college division III team at Wells College for four more years. She was captain of her senior season for both her high school and college team and received the most valuable swimmer award three times in college. Her favorite stroke is Butterfly and her favorite events include the 100 and 200 Butterfly. Kaitlin has gained most of her experience working with children of all ages helping in her mother’s classroom, tutoring children and babysitting. Her favorite part about teaching her students is being able to see as they improve and getting them comfortable in the water. Kaitlyn is currently attending Wells College where she is studying Biology. Some of her hobbies include hiking, swimming and playing field hockey.
